Little Rock is in the national spotlight while teachers, activists, and community members fight for the right to elect their own school board after five years of harmful state control. For advocates of excellence in public education - throughout the United States and within Arkansas - EDLA provides an opportunity to support LRSD as it fights to shake off state control.
Teachers and families with meritorious claims against LRSD under state control may contact EDLA for help organizing their cases, finding participating attorneys, and paying legal fees.
Every lawsuit has the power to relieve a plaintiff's suffering. However, a coordinated strategy of multiple lawsuits with multiple plaintiffs is far more powerful. EDLA is working to maximize the impact of legal actions in LRSD.
But the mere truth won’t do.
You must have a lawyer.
